Curious about long range? Sunday September 27

It’s short notice, but we will be hosting an intro to long range shooting this Sunday 27 September on Batouche Range on CFB Gagetown.

This won’t be a training session, more of a chance to come out and try your rifle at long range. It’ll be an opportunity to shoot from 300-900m, depending on interest. Electronic targets will be used and we’ll help you get on target. Nothing special is required, just bring your setup and a decent 100m zero. It’s also open to experienced shooters, you don’t have to be new to come out.

Schedule is as follows:
0900 - arrive at range
0930 - Range brief
1000 - Rds down range

A Rec Pass is required from Range Control before anyone can enter the training area. For anyone interested, but unfamiliar with the base, I’ll be at the Tim Hortons on base at 0800 if anyone wants to meet, and I’ll head to Range Control around 0830 and can help you with the paperwork.

Preregistration is encouraged, so I can ensure we have enough volunteers. Email Mark McMullin or [email protected].
