Unfortunately we will need to cancel the Coleman-Stapleford match this weekend due to heavy rain forecast.
This match on 09-09-2023 welcomed shooters back to the St. Antoine Shooting club after a few months of matches taking place at other ranges. What started out as a cloudy day threatening rain ended the afternoon sunny and hot. Thanks to Ken Kyle for running a smooth and fun match and thanks to all those who helped with set up and tear down.
The Frederiction Centennial Match took place on July 8th. Ken Kyle was the match Director on this steaming hot summer day. Other than the heat and associated mirage the conditions were rather mild which allowed for some great scores overall. Congratulations to Tony Pham who won his first TR match on this day.
The RNBRA Fullbore Section 2023 Annual Prize Meet will be held at Batouche Range on July 29 & 30.
The St-Antoine Memorial Match was held on June 24. Ken Kyle was Match Director and RSO. Great turnout! Send photos to Laura @ [email protected]! The Intermaritime / British Team Trials were held at St-Antoine on May 27, 2023. Match Director was Ken Kyle and RSO was Laura Kaderly.
On a sunny Saturday in May, 31 competitors got up bright and early and traveled to St-Antoine Gun Club for the first NB Fullbore match of the season. It was a great turnout with a good blend of experienced and beginner shooters. St-Antoine range was windy and beautiful. Thank you to Ron, Ken and others who helped set up the targets and got everything ready.
A shooter can look at these four inputs and build confidence in their understanding of the wind before taking their shot. Due to time constraints, we shot two matches at 600m. Competitors were given the option of shooting 2+10 or 2+15, pair fire or string shooting. First shot was fired at 10:30am. The sun shot bright and the wind blew hard all day, which made for great conditions to practice in. F-Class Scores ** tie broken by countback * 10 shots scaled to 15 Competitor scores for those that shot 2+10 are below. I've scaled their scores as if they shot 15 for the above results. Ties are broken by "countback," which means the we look at their last shots to break the tie. For example, if Dwight's shot #15 was a 5 and Terry's was a 4, Dwight wins the tie.
