The Great NB Fall Gathering - Sept. 26 Results

Good Company. Good Shooting. Good Times.

On Saturday September 26, we hosted the Great New Brunswick Fall Gathering, a 4-shooter team match at Batouche Range, so named because it gathered people from six different countries (technically), four different USA states (pretty much) and three different languages (yes, UK-English is different from CAN-English)!

Tristan, Eric, Tom, Andrei, Ben, Chris, Michelle, Dan, Steph, Rui, Charlie, Maureen, Mike, James, Marjia, Jay, Angela, Tony, Gord, Nick, Peter, Adam, Kevin

We had an amazing blend of different skill levels. From world, national and provincial champions down to those who had never fired a rifle before! The Course of Fire was as below and having unlimited sighters really helped the newer competitors build their confidence.
600m: Unlimited sighters with two convertible + 10 shots for record
900m: Unlimited sighters with two convertible + 15 shots for record
900m: Unlimited sighters with two convertible + 15 shots for record

Thank yous are very necessary when we have a big match like this:
Mark - thanks for setting up even though you couldn't stay!
Tom - thanks for setting up, providing the ammo, equipment and good wind calls
Jay - thanks for setting up, providing the ammo, equipment, and extra patience with me ;)
Gord - thanks for providing ammo, equipment and putting all the wind flags in the same orientation
James - thanks for doing what you do and bringing amazing people together

Special shoutout to Stephanie with the top individual score for the day!

Congratulations Team St-Antoine!

Thanks again to everyone who came out to make this one of my most favorite matches of the season!
